5 Ways to Party Smarter

Partying seems simple. Get there, party hard, get epic. But the reality is, the true art of partying is something far more complex. To achieve the best Greatest Partier Alive (GPA) on your spring break, follow these five tips.

  1. Always Turn Up Together
Spring Break is wild, and a lot of can happen over the course of a night. Believe me, I know from experience. Ever end up on a roof holding onto a shoe that wasn’t yours? I have, because I didn’t bring a friend. That’s why it’s always good to go a party friends; even if you lose em in the middle of the night, you’ll still find them in the end. Besides, it’s always good to save someone watching your back.
  2. Say NO to sketchy situations
We’ve all been there: the one part where everyone in the house seems shady. Everybody seems to want to sell you something, or take you someplace where you don’t want to go. If your gut says no, you should listen. 99.9% of the time it’s right about danger, and parties go the wrong side of wild real quick. Stick to good times and chill people.
  3. Watch that Wallet
Wallet, purse, baggie full of cash, fanny pack or anywhere in between, guard it with your life. If you think you’re going to be too buzzed to remember that, then take whatever you need for cash and ID and leave it at home. You don’t want to be the guy or gal calling the bar the next day hoping your stuff didn’t get snatched.
  4. Eyes on these IDS
Ever lost your ID? It sucks doesn’t it? Especially when you’re down by the lake and you can’t get into your favorite bar. Your ID is your life out there in the scene, because without it, you’re just a nobody. And nobody likes being a nobody.
  5. Phone Home
Let’s face it, nowadays your phone is your life. Between the Snap, Instagram, Twitter, and whatever else you’re into, your phone is the best thing you have in your pocket. But aside from being your social media go to, it’s also your lifeline at parties. Whether you need to call an Uber or get a friend to pick you up, your phone is always there for you. That’s it’s always important to keep track of your phone, because it’s probably the first thing you’re going to need at the end of the night. When in doubt, leave it to your most trusted friends.
